The Living Education Center (LEC)
is a private alternative community day school,
located in historic, downtown Charlottesville Virginia
for grades 8-12. Our school, established in 1992, is focused on the individual needs, abilities and talents of each student in a contextual
curriculum that emphasizes ecology, living as a creative act and community awareness.
